The elements of the PowerDots cushion layer revitalize the musculature in the sole of the foot and follow the rising chains of muscles. The slightly raised pads send sensorimotor stimuli to muscles, tendons and joints, thereby optimizing posture and coordination. Starting from the feet, the foot orthoses bring the body back into balance.

The massage effect of the PowerDots relaxes the sole of the foot and the calf. The precisely measured stimulus near the little toes and in the metatarsal and hindfoot area influences the muscular and tendon structures of the foot. The mechanical impulses can strengthen weakened musculature and thereby stabilize the lower ankle.

During movement there is a repeated stimulus so that every step actively harmonizes the body structure and permanently improves the posture. The optimized coordination of the chains of muscles helps the body achieve greater stability and improves coordination and the sense of balance.


The PowerDots cushion layer is combined with the base layer B from ErgoPad system:s and offered in sizes 35 to 48. In addition to the glued version, the cushion layer is also available as “top layer separate” in the familiar ErgoPad system:s shape (sizes 35-48).


PowerDots elements stimulate the musculature of the sole of the foot and the continuing trunk and spinal musculature.
The light, nubbed texture also improves the sensory perception on the soles of the feet during walking.


1.) Little toe bed / spot
Extends the toes and the musculature acting upon the toes. The contact of the foot is better in the push-off phase.

2.) Lateral metatarsal spot
Stimulates the musculature that acts upon the forefoot and thus optimizes the heel-to-toe movement and relieves the Achilles tendon.

3.) Lateral hindfoot spot
Stimulates the calf musculature and increases muscle tension. It stabilizes the lower ankle, optimizes movement control of the hindfoot and reduces the risk of twisting.

4.) Medial hindfoot spot
Controls the tibial musculature and increases muscle tension. It stabilizes the lower ankle, optimizes the movement control of the hindfoot and raises the longitudinal arch of the foot.

A slight reduction in the height of the spots is normal and depends on the load. Regular checking of the functional properties by an orthotist is recommended.

Proprioceptive foot orthoses stimulate the muscles that influence the foot by stimulating the body’s own sensorimotor system “from the inside”. The sensorimotor system guides and controls movements on the basis of sensory feedback (stimuli). In the human body, it provides extremely important information for the sense of balance and the powers of coordination.
